Radiology Partners is seeking a Pre-Imaging Services Representative to handle insurance authorizations, eligibility checks, and CPT coding workflow. You will coordinate with insurers, maintain authorization files, and ensure accurate data entry to support smooth scheduling of exams.

Responsibilities

• Obtains documents, verifies, and follows up on insurance authorizations and eligibility for scheduled exams, consulting with supervisor on complex cases.
• Contacts insurance companies to obtain prior authorization and predetermination for exams ordered by providers; verifies eligibility.
• Maintains CPT code authorization files per managed care contracts and performs clerical duties as needed.
• Enters data accurately into the system, applying CPT codes to match authorizations; coordinates with Modality Protocol, Clinical Managers, or technologists as needed.
