Job summary

Qualifications

• Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiologic License required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• Heart Saver certification or BLS from AHA; if not, certification within 60 days of hire.
• Experience in hospital imaging department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for all NEBH locations and promotes the hospital mission.
• Verifies patient identity and demographics; greets and cares for patients until discharge.
• Performs radiographic exams and ensures correct data entry for billing and tracking.
• Operates and maintains radiology equipment and reports issues promptly.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy, physics and pathology; maintains aseptic technique.
• Monitors radiation delivery and follows ALARA principles; adheres to safety standards.
• Supports non-imaging functions and may rotate to other NEBH locations.
