Position Overview

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is expanding its Community Radiology Section and seeks full-time on-site diagnostic radiologists to join our regional hospital practice. You will support Vanderbilt’s regional hospitals primarily in Tullahoma, with opportunities to support Lebanon and Bedford, TN, providing high-quality care to diverse communities.

Position Highlights

• Combination of Subspecialty & General Radiology: Focus on your subspecialty and interpret various imaging modalities.
• Variety of Settings: Mainly at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital, with occasional on-site or remote support for other hospitals.
• Professional Development: CME funding, up to 41 days for leave, and opportunities for moonlighting.
• Schedule: Approximately 219 shifts annually, including weekends, with no overnights or call-backs. Weekend shifts include a home workstation.

Position Requirements

• MD or equivalent, ABR certification or eligibility
• Fellowship training in relevant subspecialties is a plus but not mandatory
• Eligible for Tennessee medical license
• Willing to perform fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound-guided procedures, including breast biopsy
• On-site work at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital
