Blanchard-Valley-Health-System is seeking a Transportation Attendant to move patients to and from Radiology, support technologists, and help maintain a smooth department workflow. The role requires a positive service mindset and reliable communication with caregivers and patients in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple departments, stocking supplies, and adhering to all safety policies, including radiation protection guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Possess high service excellence skills.
• Possess knowledge skills necessary for growth and development of self, the organization, and technology.
• Possess the ability to assess patient needs and requirements relative to patient age or status.
• Accepts organization policy regarding occupational radiation protection monitoring, and exposure.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients and materials to Radiology to ensure department productivity.
• Assist technologists and leadership in daily tasks and patient care to improve satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments and offices to ensure smooth patient flow and information exchange.
• Monitor and stock supplies to maintain continuous patient care.
• Follow all department policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and adapt to busy periods.
• Follow the department chain of command.
