Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients to and from the department according to departmental protocols.
• Recognizes and reports patient care or safety concerns to appropriate staff.
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of working area, stretchers, wheelchairs, IV poles, and other transport equipment.
• Collaborates and communicates with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Notifies appropriate personnel of any delays affecting operations; may transport deceased patients to the morgue depending on department.
