Inland Imaging Associates, LLC is seeking a Supplemental Patient Care Assistant to support radiologists and technologists across locations as needed. The role requires efficient multitasking, strong organizational skills, and strict confidentiality in handling patient information.

The position offers a 12% supplemental differential and requires excellent communication, with opportunities to assist in CT procedures under supervision. Shift rotations and hospital/urgent care settings may apply.

Qualifications

• One year minimum experience in the medical field.
• Anatomy and medical terminology preferred.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Understanding of CT procedures to be read by radiologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to/from inpatient department or Emergency Room to/from Inland Imaging department.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and instruct patient in preparation for exams.
• Maintains clean, well stocked exam and dressing rooms.
• Assists Technologists with patients as needed.
• Explains exams to patients.
• May lift or transfer patients to exam tables and assist off tables after exams.
• Assists scheduling department with scheduling patients.
• Obtains detailed medical history and consents from patients.
• Helps coordinate three patients arriving simultaneously for procedures.
• Performs daily QC for iSTAT unit.
