TEKsystems is seeking a Radiology PACS Applications Analyst to support enterprise imaging environments, including PACS, dictation, and AI platforms. The role collaborates with radiologists, managers, and vendors to ensure smooth operation of imaging workflows and interfaces.

The engineer will lead projects, troubleshoot complex tickets, and coordinate testing/go-live activities across multi-team environments.

• Extensive experience with enterprise imaging applications and PACS ecosystems.
• Ability to own tickets, incidents, and project deliverables through to completion.
• Strong communication skills and documentation discipline.

Description

The Radiology PACS Applications Analyst will report to the IT Radiology Team Lead and serve as a subject matter expert for various enterprise imaging applications, including PACS, voice dictation, post-processing and image routing solutions. The individual will work closely with other PACS Analysts; Epic Radiant Analysts; Radiologists; radiology managers; vendors and interface, field operations and infrastructure teams.

The Radiology PACS Applications Analyst will lead assigned projects and technical workstreams. The responsibilities will include:

• Project management


• Troubleshooting


• Hardware and software support


• Facilitate security architecture reviews (SARs)


• Lead root cause analysis efforts


• Coordinate and lead multiteam and vendor discussions


• Coordinate testing and go-live activities


• Produce status reports


• Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation

The Radiology PACS Applications Analyst will independently prioritize and resolve complex tickets involving:

• Image availability


• Modality connectivity


• Routing


• Prefetching


• Archiving


• Worklists


• Interfaces


• System performance


• Radiologist workflows

Essential Skills

• Extensive experience in enterprise imaging applications, including GE Centricity PACS/Universal Viewer, GE Enterprise Archive/VNA, PowerScribe One, Dicom Systems Unifier, mammography systems, radiology AI platforms, interfaces and DICOM/HL7 integrations.


• Ability to take ownership of tickets, incidents, issue and project deliverables through completion.


• Ability to proactively communicate risks and progress.


• Ability to satisfy established deadlines.


• Ability to mentor less experienced Analysts.


• Solid communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Project management experience.

Onsite/Residency Requirements

The Radiology PACS Applications Analyst will primarily work remotely but will be required to be onsite one day a week. To be eligible for hybrid employment, all candidates must live in the 9-county area of Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery and Waller counties.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
