Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a remote fraud analyst to join an operations team focused on payments fraud, protecting Meta users and partners. You will support our team and directly work with end users to resolve live-time tickets while applying a diverse toolkit of data analysis and investigative work.

The role requires 3+ years in fraud investigations or cybersecurity and strong Excel/data-visualization skills to interpret charts and datasets.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent in CS/IS/cybersecurity or related fields.
• 3+ years in online fraud investigations, trust & safety, or cybersecurity.
• Experience in data review and ML labeling.
• Ability to manipulate raw datasets in Excel and interpret charts/visualizations.
• Experience mitigating time-sensitive escalations.

Required Qualifications

• BS or equivalent work experience (ex. degrees - Computer Science, Information Systems, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or Accounting).
• 3+ years of work experience in online fraud investigations, trust and safety, and/or cybersecurity.
• Experience in data review and/or ML labeling.
• Ability to manipulate raw datasets in Excel and interpret data from charts, graphs, and other analytical visualizations.
• Experience mitigating time-sensitive escalations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to think critically and qualify assessments with strong presentation, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with a team spanning multiple locations/time zones.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapt to changes, and prioritize competing requests.
• 2+ years of work experience performing open-ended analysis and developing practical business insights and recommendations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
