Job summary

MEDICAL ASSOCIATES OF RI INC in Bristol, RI is seeking a Radiology Manager to lead the radiology department on-site. This full-time role focuses on scheduling, staffing, workflow, and safe diagnostic services in a patient-centered environment.

You will supervise technologists, coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, manage equipment maintenance, and contribute to budgeting, inventory, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Radiologic Technology and Radiology, with knowledge of imaging protocols and safety.
• ARRT certification or eligibility and commitment to credentialing.
• Experience applying radiologic principles within Medicine; exposure to Nuclear Medicine is a plus.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in imaging, including scheduling and staff development.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards (licensure, radiation safety, HIPAA).
• Effective communication and collaboration with diverse teams.
• Proficiency with RIS, PACS, EHR, and data reporting/analytics.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the radiology department.
• Supervise radiologic technologists and provide coaching.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety policies.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and service.
• Assist with budget and inventory oversight.
• Monitor departmental metrics and drive process improvement.
