Job summary

Vernovis is seeking a Senior Director of Radiology Operations & Clinical Systems to lead the operational performance and clinical technology across a distributed radiology environment, including imaging centers, teleradiology, and hospital clients.

The role reports within the technology organization and directly manages the Clinical Systems team responsible for mission-critical applications that run the radiology workflow 24x7x365.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in healthcare technology and radiology operations.
• Experience managing 24x7x365 clinical systems uptime and incident handling.
• Familiarity with radiology workflow technologies: RIS, PACS, worklist orchestration; HL7/DICOM/FHIR.
• Strong capacity planning, forecasting and KPI management across operations and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clinical Systems team responsible for mission-critical applications across radiology workflow.
• Own uptime, reliability, and performance of clinical systems, including monitoring and incident response.
• Manage change management, releases, and maintenance to protect operations while enabling improvement.
• Implement technology initiatives from planning through rollout and stabilization.
• Partner with IT infrastructure, security, and product teams to ensure resilience and security.
• Serve as a liaison between radiology operations, clinical systems, and executive leadership.
