Northwestern Medicine in Orland Park, IL is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide direct patient care across the admission to discharge continuum. This 40-hour week schedule includes Monday, Friday and every other Saturday 7:00AM - 3:30PM; Tuesday and Thursday 11:00AM - 7:30PM.

The Staff Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with patients, families and health care teams, while adhering to the organization's Code of Ethics and policy standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Ability to collaborate with others and strong interpersonal skills.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and record patient status on admission.
• Organize health data for accurate plan of care.
• Identify problems needing immediate attention.
• Document diagnoses and expected outcomes.
• Initiate discharge planning with patient/family.
• Provide patient education based on evidence-based practice.
