Job summary

Strategis Consulting seeks a Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging in a Radiology Department. You will assess patients, educate, establish IV access, administer meds/contrast, monitor status, and respond to emergencies alongside radiologists and technologists.

Qualifications

• Two years of acute care nursing experience is required.
• Current, unencumbered GA RN license and BLS/PALS/ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in radiology workflows, imaging protocols, and cardiovascular medications.

Responsibilities

• Review orders, medical history, allergies, and contraindications before procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures, medications, contrast use, and discharge instructions.
• Establish IV access and administer medications and contrast as ordered.
• Monitor vital signs, rhythm, BP and oxygen saturation during imaging.
• Assist radiologists and technologists during CCTA and related procedures.
• Respond to adverse events and maintain post-procedure care and documentation.
