Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a skilled Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Aurora, CO. The role involves performing a range of nuclear medicine procedures, from bone and lung scans to HIDA gastric and cardiac studies, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Join our team to deliver quality patient care while working with a multidisciplinary staff. The position requires ARRT CNMT/NMT certification, Colorado licensure, and BLS, with experience in Meditech preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Active ARRT (N) CNMT and/or NMT certification with a current Colorado state license.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Prior experience in large facilities and familiarity with Meditech is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting nuclear medicine imaging and non-imaging procedures.
• Preparing and administering radioactive drugs in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensuring the safety of patients and staff by adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and managing images through Meditech EMR.
• Collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various nuclear medicine procedures, including but not limited to bone scans, lung scans, HIDA gastric scans, and cardiac studies. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with staff and providers.
