Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Radiology department for a 13-week assignment in Colorado Springs. The role involves performing cardiac, HIDA, thyroid, and other nuclear medicine imaging with GE and Siemens equipment. Start IVs, work with EPIC EMR, and provide radiology support under in-house physicians.

Weekend and holiday call are required. Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience required.
• BLS Certification and NMTCB/ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies (Cardiac, HIDA, Gastric Emptying, Parathyroid, Thyroid).
• Start IVs as part of duties and manage imaging procedures.
• Work with in-house Radiologists and EPIC EMR; support 6–10 scans per day.
• Participate in weekend and holiday call and follow department protocols.

Description:The role involves performing a variety of nuclear medicine imaging and studies.Common imaging studies include Cardiac, HIDA, Gastric Empty, Parathyroid, Thyroid, and Thyroid Therapy.Technologists will be expected to start IVs as part of their duties.The department utilizes GE and Siemens equipment.The average number of scans or studies performed daily is 6 to 10.The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is EPIC.Radiologists are in-house for consultations and support.There are weekend and holiday call requirements.Scrub colors are solid, with no prints or graphics allowed.Department-specific orientation is provided to ensure familiarity with protocols and equipment.The cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled up to a specified number during the assignment.No floating to other areas is required as part of this position.
