Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a Radiology - Nuclear Med Tech for a 12-week assignment in Columbus, GA. The role runs day shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, with an 8-hour shift and potential call and weekend coverage. Candidates must have licensure, NMTCB/ARRT (NM) certification, and experience in diverse nuclear medicine procedures.

Minimum 2 years' experience preferred, but new timers are welcome. Proficiency with PACS and EHR is required, along with the ability to perform Brain Death, Myocardial Perfusion

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of radiology/nuclear medicine experience preferred; 1st timers accepted.
• License required.
• NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM) certifications.
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to perform HIDA scans, Bone scans, Lymphoscintigraphy, Gastric Emptying, Brain Death, and Myocardial Perfusion SPECT.
• Experience with I-123 and I-131 scans essential.
• Renal scans and parathyroid evaluations within scope.
• Must be capable of call shifts and some weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including HIDA, Bone, and Lymphoscintigraphy.
• Conduct Gastric Emptying, Brain Death, and Myocardial Perfusion SPECT procedures.
• Handle I-123 and I-131 scans as part of patient workup.
• Assist with renal scans and parathyroid evaluations.
• Possible call shifts and weekend coverage; support during emergencies.
• Maintain proficiency with PACS and EHR systems.
• Complete onboarding and clinical screening processes.

Patient population experience ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.Skills in performing HIDA scans, Bone scans, Lymphoscintigraphy, Gastric Emptying studies, Brain Death studies, Myocardial Perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 Whole body scans, I-131 Ablations, and Renal scans with or without Lasix.
