Job summary

ChristianaCare is recruiting a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the Department of Radiology at the Newark campus in a full-time position. You will collaborate with anesthesia, radiologists, and other clinicians to provide consultative and procedural services for inpatients and outpatients.

Qualifications

• Certified or eligible AGACNP or PA certification in Delaware.
• Licensed or eligible for Delaware APRN or PA license.
• Prescriptive Authority or eligibility for Delaware.
• ACLS required.
• Minimum of 2 years NP or PA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses health status of assigned patients through physical examination and history.
• Develop individualized plan of care in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Order, interpret, and perform diagnostic tests or labs as needed.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
• Document in EHR and assist with billing as required.
• Perform procedures under radiologist and anesthesiologist supervision within APC scope.
