Description:The MRI Tech will work Sunday, Friday, and Saturday from 06:00 to 18:30.Two years of experience is required.First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the experience requirement.Weekend shifts are required.Call will likely be one night per week from 00:00 to 06:00.Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities.Block scheduling is not accommodated.Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.There are no more than 7 days of requested time off allowed.Special requirements include experience with GE 1.5T and 3T systems, inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and Level 1 trauma.The facility is a tertiary care hospital and a five-time Magnet Award winner.The hospital has a total of 456 staffed beds.Charting is performed using an Epic system.Flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.Preferred skills include experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, and MR Cardiac with/without contrast.Additional preferred skills include Abdomen, MRA, MRV, Clienttion Safety, and Spinal Trauma.Travelers must have both Kansas and Missouri licensure or compact license in hand at the time of submission.Compliance requirements include completing necessary documentation and modules prior to the start date.Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing.No local candidates are accepted within a 75-mile radius.
