Job summary

You will perform MRI studies on adults and pediatrics, work a 12-hour night shift, and bring confident clinical skills to a fast-paced environment. State licensure not required here, travel welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.

Description:MRI Technologist position available.The facility has 874 licensed beds.It is a Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center.The facility is also a teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center.The department averages 40-45 patients per day.Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Patient types include adults and pediatrics from emergency departments, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses.State licensure is not required.Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude are strongly preferred.Support within the department includes lead techs, modality supervisors, and an imaging manager.The team is diverse, with varying years of experience from new graduates to long-tenured teammates.Department specific equipment includes Siemens 1.5T magnets.Scheduling will not involve rotations between weekends and weekdays.Travelers will remain on the assigned shift as per the contract.Call requirements will be staffed with a fair rotation.Travelers will be expected to assist with holiday coverage unless prior approval is obtained.All contracts are for 13 weeks and travelers will work the same shifts and times agreed upon in the contract.Technologists will wear black scrubs.The department values good teamwork and high clinical skill sets.Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
