Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an MRI Tech for a 13-week radiology assignment. The role entails day shifts with 4x10-hour coverage, including weekend 16-hour blocks and some weekday evenings.

The tech will work in a high-volume trauma center, performing MRI procedures for abdomen/MRCP and supporting adult and geriatric patients. Required: 2 years as a registered MRI tech, ARRT (MR) and BCLS certifications, and flu vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Weekend coverage required (Sat/Sun 6 a.m.–11 p.m., 16 hours per day).

• Caseload of 20–25 patients per 24-hour period per tech.
• Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center with adult/geriatric patients.

Description:MRI Tech position available.Weekend coverage is required, providing coverage for 16 hours a day from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.For the other 8 hours, shifts could be Monday, Wednesday, or Friday evenings from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.The average daily caseload per tech is 20-25 patients over a 24-hour period.The department is equipped with one Philips scanner.The traveler will never work alone, as the caseload is managed by the department, not individually by techs.Experience in an adult acute care setting is required.Experience with MRI procedures is required for abdomen and MRCP.Daily patient interactions will include adults and geriatrics.Required skills include proficiency in various MRI techniques and imaging methods.The department is a Level 1 Trauma Center and supports a major teaching hospital environment.Flu vaccination is required unless a documented medical exemption is provided.
