Qualifications

• Associate's or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program.
• Radiography (R) - ARRT certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, positions and instructs patients and adjusts equipment to provide quality images.
• Operates intra-operative CT equipment and sets scan parameters for satisfactory images.
• Takes x-ray images in other hospital areas with portable equipment and maintains sterile technique.
• Works with physicians to obtain optimal images and consults with surgeon on exam details.
• Assists in staff scheduling and communicates changes to protocols and staff.
• Acts as a clinical resource across the organization and mentors staff/students.
• Maintains records, QA/QC testing, and archives scan data; supports training and orientation.
