Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college, technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program
• Radiography (R) - ARRT certification upon hire

Responsibilities

• Prepares, positions and instructs patients; adjusts equipment to provide quality images.
• Works with physicians to obtain optimal images and follow specific exam protocols.
• Assists in creating and adjusting staff schedules and communicates protocol changes to staff.
• Acts as a clinical resource throughout the organization.
• Performs quality assurance/control testing and maintains records.
• Performs in-house PACS and Teleradiology tasks and archives scan data.
• Assists with on-the-job training and education of students and staff.
• Maintains records for accreditation, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
