Job summary

Intelerad, headquartered in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a System Support Specialist I for medical imaging IT systems, including RIS, PACS, and VNA, to support hospitals and imaging centers. Join a fast-paced clinical environment, collaborating with radiologists and technologists.

The role covers troubleshooting, workflow improvement, and HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data, with an 11am–7:30pm ET shift, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

2+ years of Healthcare IT experience with radiology systems
Working knowledge of PACS, RIS, VNA and imaging workflows
Familiarity with DICOM, HL7, IHE standards
Experience with Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022+), networking, and databases
Experience with ticketing systems (Salesforce ServiceCloud, Zendesk, ServiceNow)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective escalation
Clear communication with technical and clinical teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Understanding of HIPAA compliance and cybersecurity best practices

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for radiology IT systems (RIS, PACS, VNA) ensuring availability
Collaborate with radiologists and IT to diagnose issues and improve workflows
Support interoperability standards to integrate imaging systems with EHRs
Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in a knowledge base
Handle sensitive patient data in compliance with privacy rules
Work 11am–7:30pm ET, Monday-Friday
