Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - IR Tech (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Wisconsin. The position requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years in Interventional Radiology.

Duties include facilitating conscious sedation, IV medication administration, and circulating cases in a Level IV Trauma Center setting. Daily responsibilities involve assisting with ultrasound-guided procedures and CT as needed, scrubbing into cases, and potential suturing.

Description:Level IV Trauma Center with a focus on interventional radiology.The unit includes 1 IR suite and 1 minor procedure room.Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room.Staff will assist with ultrasound-guided cases and CT as needed.A minimum of 1 RN and 1 Tech will be present per case, along with a Radiologist/PA/APC.Higher-level cases may require an additional RN or Tech.Procedures may include paras/thoras, biopsies, abscess drainage, and angiograms.Additional skills required for Techs include scrubbing into cases and suturing.The department is supported by 4 RNs and 3 Techs when fully staffed.Technology used includes an EMR system preferred to be EPIC, and C-arm experience is preferred for Techs.Scheduling includes a weekend rotation with on-call duties.Call requirements include 1 weekend every 3 weeks and 1-2 weekday shifts per week.Every other holiday call coverage will be expected.Scrub colors will be provided, and shoes may be stored in the locker room.
