Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician for a 12-month assignment in our multi-specialty imaging department in Illinois. The role supports IR procedures, maintains sterile fields, and ensures efficient room flow during complex interventions.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of direct IR experience, state licensure, ARRT certification, BLS (and ACLS), and an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences. On-call duties 5–6 days per month, including weekends, may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support interventional radiology procedures in a multi-specialty department.

• Assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and cardiac ablation procedures.
• Fingerprinting for compliance prior to start.
• May float between facilities as requested by the unit.

Description:This position is for an Interventional Radiology Technician in a multi-specialty department.The technician will be responsible for supporting interventional radiology procedures.Candidates must be available for on-call duties 5-6 days per month, including weekends.Experience in Cath lab and EP Lab is preferred.Required skills include diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and cardiac ablation procedures.Additional skills necessary include cardiac implant device insertion, vascular closure systems, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.The role involves maintaining a sterile field and efficient room circulation during procedures.Applicants must have current BLS and ACLS certifications from an accredited organization.Floating between facilities may occur if requested by the unit.All mandatory fingerprinting must be completed prior to starting the position for compliance purposes.
