Description:The Interventional Radiology Tech will be responsible for circulating and assisting in various interventional procedures.Skills in accurate monitoring, radiological equipment setup, and maintaining sterile fields are essential.The procedures will include cardiac catheterizations, balloon pumps, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertions, and other interventional radiology tasks.Candidates should have experience with various imaging equipment such as Siemens and Philips C-arms.Additional skills in central venous access, embolization, and hemodynamic monitoring are required.The position involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures on diverse patient populations, including adolescents and geriatrics.Candidates must be willing to float to different areas as needed.Floating is a requirement of all travelers within the institution.COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but a flu vaccine is mandatory with medical or religious exemptions considered.The work involves collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams.A background check will be conducted prior to hiring.
