Description:This position involves working in the Interventional Radiology unit with a focus on special procedures.The unit consists of two labs and is staffed with three RNs and two RTs.The typical patient ratio is 1:2.Equipment utilized includes GE and Phillips fluoroscopy machines.Electronic medical records are managed using Meditech and Mac Lab systems.Typical procedures performed include TIPS, EVAR, AAA repair, PICC placement, vertebroplasty, and vascular-peripheral interventions.Candidates should be flexible with their schedules and possess an amicable personality.Call is required, including off-hours and weekends, with a necessary response within a 30-minute radius.Scrubs will be provided and sizing must be communicated.
