Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract in Albany, NY. The role focuses on performing and assisting with IR exams, with emphasis on imaging procedures and patient safety.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification and NYS license with injection license and has at least 2 years of IR tech experience, plus pass health screenings and onboarding checks. Schedule is dayshift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT certification and NYS license required, including injection license.
• Health history safety protocols such as COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, varicella, and 2-step PPD or IGRA verified for onboarding.
• Background screening and education verification required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist who possesses the skills to perform and assist with a variety of Interventional Radiology exams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in imaging procedures and a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with Interventional Radiology procedures such as CT/Ultrasound guided biopsies, embolizations, port placements, IVC filters, PCN catheter placements and exchanges, chest tubes, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT certification and NYS license required, including injection license.
• Health history safety protocols such as COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, varicella, and 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) verified for onboarding.
• Background screening and education verification required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
