Interventional Radiology Position Overview

Join our team for a comprehensive Interventional Radiology practice, including vascular ultrasound and advanced interventional procedures.

• 100% Interventional Radiology practice with vascular ultrasound
• Utilize the latest techniques and instruments for comprehensive interventional procedures
• Provide Interventional Oncology services, including percutaneous tumor ablation and Y90
• Participate in IR run PE response team, offering Pulmonary Embolectomy and CDT
• Treat Portal Hypertension and Peripheral Arterial Disease
• Manage deep and superficial venous diseases
• Opportunity to develop new techniques such as PAE and GAE

Enjoy a 1:5 weekly IR call schedule starting at 5:00 pm, with state-of-the-art Siemens and Philips labs, Siemens Artis Q biplane room, and advanced imaging equipment. Our department is part of the Heart and Vascular Institute, working collaboratively with Vascular Surgery, Cardiology, and Cardiothoracic Surgery. We offer coverage for a single hospital, Carle Foundation Hospital, a 489-bed Level I Trauma Center recognized as one of the Best Hospitals in Illinois.
