Flexible Remote Radiology Opportunities available in Southern California- Remote position, interpreting CT, US, X-ray, and MRI. Mammo and Nuc Med not currently needed. Opportunities exist for those with Interventional Radiology fellowship training.
- Shifts: Evenings (5 PM - Midnight PST)
- Deep nights (10 PM - 7 AM PST)
- Weekend/Holiday shifts (7 AM - 5 PM PST, 5 PM - Midnight PST, 10 PM - 7 AM PST)
- Opportunity to expand into day shifts.
- Scheduling Flexibility: Full-time employed: 3 evening shifts/week (5 PM - Midnight), 1 weekend/month, occasional holidays. Full benefits included.
- Deep night shifts: 9 shifts/month (10 PM - 7 AM)
- Per Diem 1099: Minimum 30 hours/month, no benefits, but flexible scheduling and additional shifts available.
- Faculty Option: 75% clinically based, 25% non-clinical time for teaching/research.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:- Active California medical license required or eligibility for California license.
- Minimum 1-2 years of post-training experience preferred
- Experience in Emergency Radiology preferred (CT, X-ray, MRI expertise required)
- Candidates must demonstrate efficiency in high-volume settings and ability to read across multiple modalities.
- Open to remote candidates nationwide, as long as they hold or are eligible for a California license.
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- This is a 100% clinical role with no direct teaching or research requirements, though these activities are not prohibited and can be offered.
- Contract options are faculty, per diem, or employed, but cannot mix these models.
- Physicians can pick up extra shifts as desired. Internal and external moonlighting are options.
- Priority focus on MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and X-ray; future expansion into Nuclear Medicine and Mammography.
- Pre-scheduled shifts: 1-3 months in advance, up to 1 year.
- Most urgent needs: Deep nights, weekend days, and weekend deep nights (5 PM - 12 AM, overnights, and weekend shifts preferred).
- Highly flexible scheduling: Ability to book shifts 1-3 months in advance with an option to schedule the entire year for stability.
- No call obligations: Pure shift-based work.
- Remote-friendly: Ability to work from anywhere in the U.S. with a California license. The group provides at home workstations and technology support for remote radiologist.
