Job summary

Stormont Vail Health seeks a part-time radiologic technologist to perform radiographic and advanced imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. You will prepare patients, adjust exposure factors, and maintain equipment and records while supporting training initiatives.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, 6 months in advanced modalities, 3 months surgery experience, and 2 years in a hospital/clinic setting, with BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in at least one advanced modality.
• 3 months surgery experience.
• 2 years experience in a hospital/clinic.
• ARRT radiography certification required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic and advanced imaging procedures.
• Adjusts exposure factors based on patient size and area, and ensures image quality.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
• Practices radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Operates radiologic equipment and performs exams in advanced imaging modalities.
• Completes forms and maintains records related to work performed.
• Assists in training students or new staff.
