Job summary

Kaweah Health in Visalia, CA, seeks an Imaging Tech II to provide basic diagnostic x-ray skills across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. You will review orders, perform radiology procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort in all contexts.

Responsibilities include assisting in surgery and endoscopy, operating advanced imaging equipment, and maintaining high-quality images for dictation. You will work a night 12-hour shift and contribute to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• CA CRT license required; BLS and fluoroscopy permit within 9 months; ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment per procedure and ensure patient safety.
• Verify orders and document in RIS; communicate with staff as needed.
• Assist in surgery or endoscopy as directed and maintain image quality.
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and proper equipment readiness.
• Develop images using CR/DR systems and ensure proper markers.
• Coordinate with PACS and verify two identifiers before imaging.
