Job summary

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Sonographer to join our nationwide traveler network. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused professionals with ARDMS certification and active licensure in the employing state.

Two years of specialty experience and a valid driver’s license are required to support travel to varied clinical sites. Travel assignments include imaging across obstetrics, gynecology, vascular, cardiac, and musculoskeletal subspecialties.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification is required.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Sonographer is required.
• Completion of specialized certificate in obstetrics/gynecology, cardiac, vascular, or musculoskeletal as required.
• Two years of recent experience in the specialty field is required.
• Driver’s license in good standing is required.
• Ability to travel using air and ground transportation.
• Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for procedures with attention to comfort and safety and radiation protection.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report findings to the physician.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current ARDMS required.

• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Patient Preparation and Positioning: Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
