Job summary

San Gabriel Valley Medical Center is seeking a Director of Radiology Services to lead Interventional Radiology, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, and Ultrasonography. You will supervise training, ensure staff competency, and manage budgets while maintaining state and federal compliance.

Responsibilities include professional liaison with medical staff, staffing optimization, and enforcing safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Progressive management experience in imaging/acute care hospital settings.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for imaging and related modalities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to ensure safety to patients and staff.
• Oversees staffing plans to meet population needs and ensures staff competency.
• Develops and manages the department budget and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Educates staff in performance improvement methodology and promotes participation.
• Maintains clear reports of departmental activities and findings.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field

Advanced degree in healthcare related field or business

Current California licensed CRT, ARRT, and Fluoro Certification

Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
