Job summary

San Gabriel Valley Medical Center in California is seeking a Director of Radiology Services to lead the IR, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging and Ultrasonography departments. You will supervise staffing, training, budgeting and ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Progressive management experience in an imaging setting/acute care hospital.
• Experience in operations improvement, clinical program development, organizational development and financial management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for imaging and related modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to ensure safety to both patients and staff.
• Oversees staffing plans to meet population needs and acuity calculations.
• Develops department goals and objectives and reports on activities.
• Educates staff in PI methodology and promotes participation by all staff.
• Develops and manages the department budget and ensures compliance with standards.
