Job summary

Qualifications

• BART or BLS certification required at time of hire; plan to obtain BART within 6 months.
• Experience in a hospital Radiology Department; working knowledge of RIS/HIS.
• Computer knowledge; quality control and safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Schedule procedures and process radiographs.
• Transport patients and prepare for radiographic procedures.
• Download external CDs into PACS and operate related equipment.
• Prepare radiographs for interpretation and manage related devices.
• Support cost containment for supplies and maintain equipment inventory.
• Participate in team scheduling, training and evaluations.
• Assist with quality control and safety initiatives.
