Qualifications

• One year of clerical experience required, preferably in hospital or physician setting.
• Medical Terminology course within 6 months of hire.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• BLS American Heart E-Card certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to designated sites using a wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or neuro chair.
• Create electronic files for release of information to authorized individuals.
• Manage imaging exam workflow for timely interpretation and coordinate with interpreting physicians.
• Greet patients, verify prescriptions with providers, and schedule as needed.
• Communicate imaging findings to caregivers and verify transmission of critical results.
