Job description

We are seeking experienced Radiology / Imaging IT Application Analysts to support the enterprise transition from legacy PACS imaging platforms to a modern imaging ecosystem. These consultants will play a critical role in application support, workflow optimization, data migration, and clinical adoption across Radiology and other imaging service lines.

Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience with at least one of the following platforms:

• Visage Imaging
• ACUO VNA
• Nuance PowerScribe

This role requires close collaboration with Radiology leadership, clinical end users, vendors, and IT stakeholders to ensure a successful imaging platform transition with minimal disruption to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Imaging Application Support & Optimization

• Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 application support for assigned imaging platforms (Visage, ACUO VNA, and/or PowerScribe)
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve imaging workflow, performance, and integration issues
• Configure and maintain application settings, user profiles, roles, and permissions
• Support upgrades, patches, and ongoing optimization initiatives

PACS Transition & Implementation Support

• Support PACS migration and decommissioning activities, including validation and cutover support
• Assist with image and data migration testing, reconciliation, and issue resolution

Clinical & Operational Collaboration

• Partner with radiologists, technologists, and imaging operations teams to understand clinical needs
• Translate clinical requirements into technical solutions and configuration changes
• Provide end‑user training, tip sheets, and workflow guidance as needed
• Serve as a trusted liaison between IT, vendors, and clinical stakeholders

Integrations & Data Flow

• Support and troubleshoot integrations with:
• Modalities and imaging devices
• HL7, DICOM, and VNA workflows
• Collaborate with interface and infrastructure teams as needed

Must haves:

• 2+ years of Radiology / Imaging IT experience
• Hands‑on experience with at least ONE of the following:
• Visage Imaging
• ACUO VNA
• Nuance PowerScribe
• Prior experience supporting PACS implementations, migrations, or platform transitions
• Strong understanding of Radiology workflows (diagnostic imaging, reading workflows, reporting)
