Job summary

Middlesex Health is seeking a Radiology Coordinator for the Urgent Care Middletown site. The role oversees daily imaging operations, workflow and quality controls within the urgent care modality, ensuring high standards of patient care and staff development.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT eligibility, a JRCERT‑accredited radiography background, CT/IMG modality proficiency, and strong communication skills to support a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT Certification/Eligible in good standing.
• State of Connecticut License/Eligible.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care essential to imaging procedures.
• Mentor staff and students; provide coaching as needed.
• Perform regular QC checks and coordinate machine maintenance.
• Coordinate between Radiology Department and Urgent Care clinics to ensure up-to-date practice.
• Address and record any errors or incidents with technicians.
• Act as liaison between Radiology and Urgent Care to align imaging workflows.
