Job summary

Community Health Systems in Tucson seeks a Radiology Support Coordinator to operate and maintain radiology equipment, educate patients, and ensure safe imaging procedures. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to produce high-quality diagnostic images and maintain compliant records.

The role requires ARRT certification, 2–4 years of radiologic experience, and strong knowledge of radiation safety and EHR/RIS systems. This position offers a day shift with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• 3-5 years of clinical experience in an Invasive Lab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic/x-ray equipment during procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Educates patients about pre-, during-, and post-procedure events and instructions.
• Assists in in-service training on radiology equipment and radiation safety within the lab.
• Performs duties related to invasive imaging procedures with safety compliance.
• Monitors patients' vital signs during procedures and relays data to medical staff.
• Maintains accurate patient records and charges documentation.
• Ensures all paperwork is signed, dated, and timed by physicians.
