Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Radiology Technologist II to perform advanced diagnostic imaging, operate and maintain radiographic equipment, and uphold patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to produce high-quality images, educate patients and families about procedures, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

ARRT certification required; state license preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certification required and state license.
• BCLS within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic/x-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Educates patients about pre-, during-, and post-procedure instructions.
• Monitors patient vital signs and ensures safety during procedures.
• Maintains accurate patient records and ensures proper documentation of charges.
• Ensures equipment safety checks and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with healthcare team and provides guidance as needed.
