Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Radiology Technologist to identify incorrect sequences, assist radiologists, and coordinate with departments for timely imaging results. The role supports multiple modalities and requires ARRT registered technologist, with RDMS and CNMT preferred.

PRN schedule, Day shift, based in Orlando, FL. Associate degree in Radiology Sciences and relevant imaging experience are preferred; Florida background screening applies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology workflows.
• Ability to multitask across reading room and clinical coordination.
• Strong communication with radiologists, staff and providers.

Responsibilities

• Identifies incorrect sequences and imaging, and follows up with technologists or department managers to correct incomplete or incorrect exams.
• Assists the Radiologist in providing timely results to ancillary departments and physician offices.
• Communicates clinical information and observations to radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare providers.
