Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Front Office Associate to join our team. You will greet and register patients, answer phones, schedule imaging appointments, and coordinate with technologists in a cheerful, professional manner.

This temporary/PRN role requires a High School Diploma, customer service experience, and proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office. Previous medical office experience and bilingual abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.
• One year of Customer Service experience.
• Proficient in using computer systems and typing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients for imaging services; processes payments and copays as needed
• Answer phones and handles calls in an efficient and friendly manner
• Act as liaison between imaging technologists and the patients waiting for exams, and relays messages regarding scanner status and other Clinic information
• Maintain organization of the front office lobby area by straightening magazines, organizing coffee supplies and assisting with general office cleanup
• Push patient imaging via electronic interfaces
• Complete patient appointment confirmation calls and provide preparation instructions to patients
