Job summary

Hmixray in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a Technologist Aide to join a patient-centered imaging team. You will greet and register patients, collect copays, verify information, and help schedule appointments while supporting technologists and safeguarding PHI and medications.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 1 year of medical office experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, collect copays and verify patient information.
• Obtain insurance/authorizations and patient information, collect signatures, ensure documentation.
• Schedule, reschedule or cancel patient appointments and notify staff of changes.
• Sterilize equipment and tools in each department before every patient exam.
• Assist technologists with patients.
• Safeguard patient property and PHI on-site.
• Safeguard medications and patient financial information per company policies.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
