AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Radiology Facilitator I to support teleradiology, locum tenens operations, and radiology workflow coordination.

Responsibilities include preparing section meeting agendas, assisting with tumor board, journal club, and hospital committees, and ensuring timely license and DEA renewals. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Formación

• Associate degree in Radiology or Healthcare preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as Radiology Facilitator I or equivalent.
• Experience in Radiology Department preferred.
• Experience with computer and medical software applications required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Supports Teleradiology and Locum Tenens operations.
• Assists with creating section meeting agendas and provides support during section meetings.
• Assists with tumor board, journal club, and hospital committee preparation; follows up on licenses/DEAs.
• Tracks renewables and coordinates with PACS/readers; supports department meetings.
• Promotes compliance with HIPAA and physician-to-physician communications policies.
• Acts as scheduling liaison for Radiologist meetings and coordinates exam flow to PACS.

Job Description:

• Supports Teleradiology and Locum Tenens operations.
• Assists with creating section meeting agendas and provides support during section meetings.
• Assists with tumor board, journal club, and hospital committee preparation. Follows up with radiologists on expirable items such as Medical Licenses and DEAs.
• Tracks and uploads renewables to appropriate locations. Attends department meetings and promotes positive dialogue regarding department objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates understanding of all pertinent procedures and policies, including HIPAA regulations, the physician-to-physician communication policy, and over-read procedures.
• Appropriately uses Radiologist's schedule and worklist rotations to facilitate processes.
• Provides direct administrative support to Section Chiefs. Acts as scheduling liaison for Radiologist meetings.
• Assists in coordinating exams once they reach Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) by ensuring timely reading and report delivery to ordering and referring physicians.
