AdventHealth is seeking a Radiology Administrative Facilitator to support teleradiology and PACS workflows in a fast-paced hospital environment in Denver, CO. The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and knowledge of radiology procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, assisting with tumor boards, and ensuring timely report delivery to ordering physicians while maintaining HIPAA compliance and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in radiology or healthcare fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as Radiology Facilitator I or equivalent required.
• Experience in Radiology Department preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology required.
• Experience with computer and medical software applications required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Job Description:

• Supports Teleradiology and Locum Tenens operations.
• Assists with creating section meeting agendas and provides support during section meetings.
• Assists with tumor board, journal club, and hospital committee preparation. Follows up with radiologists on expirable items such as Medical Licenses and DEAs.
• Tracks and uploads renewables to appropriate locations. Attends department meetings and promotes positive dialogue regarding department objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates understanding of all pertinent procedures and policies, including HIPAA regulations, the physician-to-physician communication policy, and over-read procedures.
• Appropriately uses Radiologist's schedule and worklist rotations to facilitate processes.
• Provides direct administrative support to Section Chiefs. Acts as scheduling liaison for Radiologist meetings.
• Assists in coordinating exams once they reach Picture Archiving Communication Systems (PACS) by ensuring timely reading and report delivery to ordering and referring physicians.
