Job summary

St. Marys Medical Center in West Palm Beach is seeking a Radiology Extern for a temporary, part-time role. You will assist technologists, help with patient transfers, and prepare rooms and equipment to support quality patient care.

Responsibilities include keeping wheelchairs ready, cleaning equipment, completing basic maintenance checks, submitting work orders, and stocking supplies. Education: high school diploma and enrollment in Radiology program; BLS/CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment or recent completion in Radiology Program.
• BLS/CPR (American Heart Assn) certification.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps wheelchairs available for use.
• Performs cleaning of wheelchairs after each patient use and as needed.
• Completes weekly and as needed checks on equipment and notifies area for repair.
• Prepares and submits work orders as needed.
• Stocks and puts away new deliveries of supplies.
