Job summary

St. Marys Medical Center Hospital, part of the Tenet Healthcare network, seeks a Radiology Technician to operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under protocol. The role supports direct and indirect patient care to ensure imaging is completed accurately and efficiently.

The position requires an Allied Health credential, 0–2 years of experience, ARRT certification, and BLS/CPR. This is a per diem on-site opportunity with rotating shifts and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of Allied Health Program.
• Experience: 0-2 yrs.
• License: RADIOGRAPHY (ARRT) CERTIFIED RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST (STATE LICENSE).
• Certifications: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN).

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of diagnostic radiographic procedures including Portables, Trauma, ER, Fluoroscopy and Surgery.
• Obtains all required documentation/supplies.
• Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.
• Organizes work area and maintains supplies.

The Radiology Tech operates Radiology equipment to perform a variety of imaging procedures as indicated by protocol. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of their imaging procedures.
