Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech (EEG Tech) to perform standard and advanced EEG procedures for pediatric and adult patients. This 13-week assignment requires inpatient and outpatient EEG experience under moderate supervision, with documentation and student training responsibilities.

The role calls for a minimum of 1 year of experience, AHA BLS HCP certification, ABRET eligibility, and familiarity with Natus/Nihon Kohden systems.

Qualifications

• EEG tech with inpatient and outpatient EEG experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience.
• Certification: AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) or equivalent; ABRET eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients under moderate supervision.
• Provide technical assistance and training to students.
• Complete all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures.
• Support departmental goals and participate in program development for Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.
• Have working knowledge of computer applications; familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems.
• Work with pediatric and adult patients; participate in on-call duties and weekend/holiday shifts as needed.

Description:The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision.This role is directed according to established standards and practices.The technologist provides technical assistance and training to students.All necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures must be completed.Support for all functions, goals, and objectives of the department is required.Involvement in the development of any new programs that include the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit is expected.A working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite is essential.Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems is preferred.The patient population includes pediatric and adult patients.On-call duties are required as well as working on weekends and holidays as needed.
