Qualified applicants are current University of Maryland School of Medicine medical students fluent in English and in good standing. The position offers on-site work in Baltimore and opportunities to engage in CT protocoling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Accurate typing and data entry skills.
• Knowledge of general customer service practices.
• Ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with team members and public.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receives and directs incoming calls and visitors using approved greetings.
• Maintains records and filing systems; codes, copies, sorts and files documents.
• Assembles and compiles basic data; enters and retrieves data.
• Prepares and assists in bulk mailings; updates mailing lists.
• Delivers, posts and retrieves documents on campus.
• Operates office equipment (phones, computers, copiers).
• Maintains operation of copiers and scanners and schedules service.
• Performs basic data entry using Microsoft Office.
