Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare professionals, monitor patients, administer medications, and maintain comprehensive medical records. You will educate patients and support the care team across IR, EV, OR, or CATH LAB settings.

Required RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification. BSN preferred; experienced nurses with ASN pursuing BSN within five years are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: BSN; ASN to complete BSN within five years; MSN.
• 1+ year nursing experience preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records patient symptoms or changes in condition.
• Assesses, plans, implements, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
